Kate is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Barton College and a Master of Social Work degree from East Carolina University. Kate has a background in developmental disabilities and public health. She has experience with depression, anxiety, pregnancy loss, trauma, and more.

Kate believes that everyone’s journey is different, and each person deserves respect and understanding in a non-judgmental environment. She believes that each person holds within them the power to break free from all strongholds. She loves encouraging people, and watching them grow.

In her free time, Kate likes to spend time at home with her husband and two daughters. She also enjoys cooking, baking, and hanging out with friends. She works very hard to beat her reading records from the previous year, so she can often be found with her nose in a book (or two).
