Riley knows that starting therapy takes great courage. It can feel daunting to open up or confront your deepest struggles, and the idea of being vulnerable might feel unfamiliar. Maybe you’ve even grown accustomed to wearing a mask around others and rehearsing your “I’m fine” speech when asked about how you’re doing. Riley’s approach to therapy is designed to help you reconnect with your mind, body, emotions, and spirit within a supportive and compassionate therapeutic relationship. She aims to create a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, patterns, and relationships—free from judgment and filled with hope for transformation. Riley is here to honor your story and provide you with the tools you need to heal from the past, live authentically in the present, and find purpose for the future.
She offers a personalized, holistic-focused approach by integrating evidence-based treatment models (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt therapy, Emotion-Focused therapy) with inner child work and experiential practices (mindfulness, somatic exercises, spirituality). Riley values exploring a client’s family of origin/relational wounds and past traumas within therapy. She believes that by making space for the client to experience the emotions related to these events, together, they can uncover and rewrite the beliefs, thoughts, and negative self-ideals that are contributing to the challenges of everyday life. Her hope is that clients will leave feeling seen, understood, and empowered with the skills needed to live a resilient life.
Riley believes that faith plays a huge role in each individual’s story and healing journey. She operates from a biblical worldview and will incorporate the client’s spirituality within sessions to strengthen their connection with themselves, others, and God.
In her free time, Riley likes to spend time with her fiancé, family, friends, and furry animals. She enjoys traveling, serving at her local church, joining mission trips, and trying out new restaurants! As an adventure-lover, Riley enjoys trying new things and experiencing all the fullness of God’s creation!
