Laura is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). She graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s in Social Work in 2013 and earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of New England in 2015. During her social work career, she worked with individuals from all age groups and walks of life. Laura has experience working with children and youth in group home settings as well as school based therapy and has several years of experience working in hospice and bereavement.

Laura strives to meet individuals where they are and to create a safe space where people feel welcome and comfortable in sharing their experiences. She has a passion for working with clients of all ages as they grow through issues of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and life transitions. Laura takes a Person Centered approach to therapy in order to help individuals discover their strengths and better understand themselves.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. Laura’s hobbies include reading, traveling, crafting, and serving in her church. She loves helping and encouraging others as they grow and discover their strengths and reach their goals!
